How to Disable Mod_ruid2 in A Direct admin Server/VPS for installing LSAPI

In order to install LSAPI on your Directadmin server via Cloudlinux, you need to disable mod_ruid2 as its not compatible with the LSAPI and the apache rebuild wont process without this.

For your direct admin server these are the stesps to disable mod_ruid2

  1. SSH into your server as root
  2. Run the following commands step by Step
cd /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild
nano options.conf

3. Now in the file Scroll down to Webserver settings and set  mod_ruid2=no

Once done run this command and your Apache build should have mod_ruid removed.

yum install liblsapi liblsapi-devel -y
./build update
./build php n
./build apache

Profit !!
